This year, on Easter Sunday: April 4th at 10am and 6pm, The Landing will present
its own program called "Illuminatus". The story is based on Mark Ch 5 and
a synagogue ruler named Jairus who is about to lose his dream...a 12 year
old daughter. As his little girl is about to die, desperation leads him to the
feet of Jesus for help. As Jesus walks with him to his home, there is a delay
as they are interrupted by a woman who has been sick for 12 years. Through
all of the emotions and struggles, Jesus assures Jairus that all will be well
with a simple five words..."don't be afraid, only believe!". This Divine assurance
leads them to the last part of their journey towards destiny...for the dream has
not died, it was only asleep!
The Landing's keyword for the year is "ILLUMINATE" so its
only fitting to do an original play about a man whose name means
God Enlightens. The play and the music were all composed by members of
the church and the story is the very foundation for how this ministry started.

"Dreams2Destiny", written by Joseph Jones as well as the scriptures.
